East Africa’s busiest seaport becomes key gateway for Indonesia’s regional trade push
Indonesia’s Ambassador to Kenya, Witjaksono Adji, said Jakarta is exploring greater use of the port following operational improvements and its growing role as a regional entry point for cargo destined for neighbouring states. The ambassador made the remarks during a meeting with William Ruto, the Managing Director of the Kenya Ports Authority, where both sides discussed ways to deepen economic cooperation and expand commercial exchanges between the two countries.
