RCEP Enters Into Force: Experts: More goods will be available for consumers

In much of Asia-Pacific, goods and products are now getting ready for transport, after the world’s largest free trade agreement took effect on New Year’s Day. Involving China and 14 other countries, the deal covers the largest free trade area in the world. CGTN’s Chen Tong has more on what this means for business opportunities throughout the region.

The Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership is expected to drop tariffs for 90 percent of goods traded in the Asia-Pacific region, boosting wider consumer choice at even lower prices. Read More.
