Addis Ababa, May 17, 2023 (FBC) – The third LAPSSET Corridor Program Ministerial meeting commenced today under the theme ‘Fast-tracking LAPSSET Implementation for peace, Growth, Sustainable Development and Regional Integration’ in Juba, South Sudan. The meeting was hosted by Ministry of Transport of the Republic of South Sudan in collaboration with the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa (UNECA). The Ethiopian delegation led by Eyob Tekalign, State Minister of Ministry for Finance, accompanied with Dhengi Boru, State Minister of Ministry of Transport, Bacha Debele, Ethiopian Ambassador to Kenya; and Nebil Mahadi, Ethiopian Ambassador to South Sudan and other higher officials of Ethiopian government are taking part in the meeting.
