Deputy Director-General Angela Ellard encouraged permanent representatives to the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) to urge their governments to promptly accept the Agreement on Fisheries Subsidies and conclude the second wave of negotiations on disciplining harmful fisheries subsidies.
