
Taking a step back into a historical journey, the concepts of “multilateralism” and “regionalism” have increasingly taken the centre stage in global politics. The European Union and the North American Free Trade Agreement, African Union and ECOWAS have emerged and are growing. Also, the fate of the African Continental Free Trade Agreement is also being rethought.
